Handmade Boots and Shoes
Giveh shoes are one of the handicrafts of Kurdish regions. It is usually used in the hot seasons of the year and is very suitable for long walks and walks and prevents injury to the legs. Humans have long been thinking of producing footwear that will cause the least damage to the feet while walking and protect the feet well.
It is also light and durable and can be easily made with available tools and equipment and does not cost much. As mentioned, the idea of Giveh ( Handmade Boots Women’s) is related to the Kurdish villagers of my country.
They made this shoe using natural fibers and yarn in their village and used their handicrafts to weave the surface of this Giveh. For its outsole and sole, they have used leather, fabric and other rubber materials and have designed shoes with special capabilities, which have many advantages. All stages of making Giveh Kurdi( Kurdish Klash) shoes are by hand and no industrial machines have been used to make it.
The yarn used to make all kinds of Kurdish shoes is often silk yarn, which has a high strength and will not be damaged by continuous use. The type of fabric used in the Giveh procedure is needlework and it is sewn by women artists using special needles (jeweler).
Leather, fabric and rubber are used for the sole or sole of this Handmade Boots Women’s. If a fabric is chosen for the sole, the fabric must be cotton. In fact, from the fabric, a board is made for the outsole, and the older the fabric, the better the outsole.
