A team of World Craft Council judges in 2017 visited the workshops and stores of Lalejin to study the city’s status. Eventually, Laljin was designated as the Pottery World Crafts City by the WCC (World Craft Council).
In addition, pottery of Hamedan includes applicable utensils in different sizes and forms and is both unicolor and colourful. The dominant colours are ultramarine, brown, green and yellow, famous for their bright, shiny glaze.
